What You’ll Actually Do
• Design: Design and build data transformations efficiently and reliably for various analytical purposes, including reporting, growth analysis, and multi-dimensional analysis.
• Implement: Design reliable, scalable, robust, and extensible big data systems that support core products and business.
• Engineer: Implement reliable, scalable, robust, and extensible big data systems that support core products and business.
• Advocate: Establish solid design and best engineering practices for engineers as well as non-technical people.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Student currently pursuing an Undergraduate or Master’s degree in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience: Commitment to working for 12 weeks during Summer 2026. Experience with Big Data technologies including Hadoop, M/R, Hive, Spark, Metastore, Presto, Flume, Kafka, ClickHouse, and Flink. Experience performing data analysis, data ingestion, and data integration.
• Skills: Experience with ETL (Extraction, Transformation & Loading) and architecting data systems. Experience with schema design, data modeling, and SQL queries.
• Bonus: Self-motivation and enthusiasm for technologies in the Big Data area.
