Job Description: Data Analytics Training and Intern (Unpaid)
Refonte Technology offers an unpaid data analytics training and internship program designed to take individuals from beginner to advanced levels of data analytics expertise through hands-on, real-world projects. The program features a flexible, remote work setting, enabling collaboration with a diverse global team across Oceania, Asia, Europe, and the Americas.
Projects: Interns will work on a variety of projects, including:
• Excel project: Visualizing hospital datasets using Excel.
• Statistical project: Analyzing live stock price data to study company stock behavior.
• EDA case study: Applying EDA techniques in risk analytics for minimizing lending risk.
• Bike-sharing system analysis: Examining bike-sharing data and usage patterns.
• IPL data analysis: Analyzing data from the Indian Premier League cricket tournament.
• Data findings communication: Presenting summarized results and key insights from projects.
• Global movie release: Contributing to the planning of a global movie release in 2024 by RSVP Movies.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Collaborating with data science experts to collect, clean, and analyze datasets; honing skills in data preprocessing and visualization.
• Utilizing machine learning and data mining techniques to extract insights from large datasets, including Excel interface structure identification.
• Applying Python programming skills for Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) in real business scenarios, focusing on risk analytics in banking and financial services.
• Designing scientific tests and optimizing model performance using modeling technologies (including no-code databases and data mining).
• Building machine learning pipelines for diverse use cases in commerce, financial markets, and procurement.
• Working with internal stakeholders to explore and understand business data, formulate hypotheses, and measure the impact of strategies using techniques like T-tests.
• Solving specific challenges and developing innovative solutions by adapting modeling technologies (e.g., bike share systems).
• Learning and applying complex analytical techniques using tools like Tableau.
• Preparing reports and presentations to effectively communicate data analysis processes and results.
Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing any degree (demonstrating a commitment to continuous learning).
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
