Job Description: Data Analytics Intern (Summer 2025)
CF Industries’ Internal Audit (IA) department seeks a Data Analytics Intern for the summer of 2025. This role provides hands-on experience in various data analytics aspects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and maintain databases to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
• Create and manage data pipelines for streamlined data collection, processing, and storage.
• Develop data visualizations to effectively communicate insights using tools like Tableau.
• Assist with continuous infrastructure improvements to department reporting.
• Work with APIs to retrieve and publish data to/from various sources.
• Collaborate with IA team members to identify pain points and develop solutions.
Required Technical Skills:
• Proficiency with SQL and relational database concepts.
• Proficiency with Python (including Jupyter/Databricks Notebooks, Pandas, NumPy, API connectivity, and Azure DevOps).
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau.
• Exposure to cloud computing concepts and tools (Databricks, blob storage, centralized credential management).
Preferred Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing a degree in a business-oriented major with a STEM focus, or a STEM major with a business focus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Previous experience with data analytics projects (coursework or internships).
Location: The role requires being in the Northbrook office 4 days per week.
Compensation: The estimated hourly pay is $17.31 – $21.51, but the actual pay may vary based on factors like education, experience, and skills.
