Data Analytics Intern | Staffline Solutions

What You’ll Actually Do
• Data Management: Collect, clean, and thoroughly organize data sourced from various platforms to ensure its accuracy, consistency, and quality for analysis.
• Insight Discovery: Conduct in-depth analysis of datasets to identify underlying trends, emerging patterns, and critical business insights that can drive strategic decisions.
• Reporting & Visualization: Design and create impactful interactive dashboards and comprehensive analytical reports using standard data visualization tools for internal and external stakeholders.
• Data Extraction & Optimization: Write, refine, and optimize SQL queries for efficient and precise data extraction, directly supporting ongoing reporting and analysis requirements.
• Business Intelligence Support: Perform exploratory data analysis to inform specific business decisions, and utilize spreadsheets and business intelligence tools to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level professional currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a quantitative or analytical field such as Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or Economics.
• Experience: Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, familiarity with SQL for efficient data querying, and a basic understanding of data visualization tools including Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio.
• Skills: Strong analytical thinking and effective problem-solving skills, excellent communication and clear presentation abilities, a solid understanding of statistics and core data analysis concepts, and the capacity to work independently and with attention to detail in a remote setting.
• Bonus: Practical knowledge of Python or R for data analysis (with specific experience in Pandas or NumPy), proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel functions like Pivot Tables and Charts, and experience in developing business reports and dashboards.
