Customer Success Fall Internship | Trajektory

The Tone:
This is a Customer Success Fall Internship at Trajektory, located in Chicago, IL. Trajektory develops a leading sponsorship valuation and analytics platform utilized by major sports teams, leagues, and brands to precisely measure and maximize the impact of their partnerships. This platform delivers real-time data, insights, and comprehensive reporting, enabling clients to make informed decisions regarding their sponsorship investments. This intern role is pivotal in supporting the core functions of onboarding, maintaining data quality, and executing client delivery processes. Interns will collaborate directly with Customer Success, Data Ops, and Business Intelligence teams to guarantee that clients receive accurate, timely, and actionable insights from the Trajektory platform. This provides invaluable direct exposure to how sports organizations and brands quantify sponsorship value, offering hands-on experience in critical operational areas and developing skills directly transferable to careers in sports, consulting, and technology.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Onboarding: Assist with comprehensive client onboarding tasks, which include the systematic collection of necessary data and thorough documentation of processes.
• Data Quality Assurance: Support quality assurance initiatives by meticulously reviewing data outputs from the platform and proactively identifying any discrepancies or inconsistencies.
• Asset Management & Audits: Conduct detailed audits of sponsorship assets across various broadcast, social media, and digital platforms, while also helping to manage and organize extensive brand and partner logo catalogs.
• Client Reporting & Deliverables: Support essential client reporting functions through diligent research, accurate data entry, and thorough validation, and assist in constructing impactful client-facing deliverables and presentations.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Actively participate in cross-functional workflows and team collaborations, utilizing tools such as Asana to ensure smooth project execution and communication.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Student currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Sports Management, Business, Marketing, or a closely related field, with the academic standing and program requirements to receive official academic credit for the internship.
• Experience: Demonstrated academic progress as a rising Junior, Senior, or Graduate student.
• Skills: Possesses a high degree of detail-orientation coupled with strong organizational skills, comfortable and proficient in working with data within spreadsheet applications, and exhibits strong communication skills necessary for effective cross-functional collaboration.
• Bonus: A genuine and proactive interest in the domains of sports analytics, sponsorships, and client services.
