The Customer Quality Engineering team plays a crucial role, serving as the voice of our top global customers internally and driving actions across Lumentum to ensure we consistently exceed quality expectations.
Responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of the key processes and tools within Lumentum’s Customer Quality Management Process.
- Implement essential updates to the Customer Quality Dashboard in Jira, which is used for tracking and reporting critical customer quality issues.
- Automate the generation of the Monthly Customer Quality Score Report for internal executive reporting.
- Generate reports on compliance with customer-impacting quality processes.
- Identify and propose improvements to existing tools, procedures, and processes to the Lumentum Quality team.
Minimum Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Electrical, Optical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Experience with data analytics using various tools.
Desired Qualifications
- Basic understanding of problem resolution and quality improvement processes.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Experience in using MS-Office, Tableau, Jira, and JMP.
- Functional knowledge of the Jira Platform, including data visualization skills, understanding JQL (Jira Query Language), and the ability to configure gadgets is a significant plus.
