Shifts & Availability

We understand the importance of flexibility and offer a range of shifts to accommodate our team members:

  • General Shifts: 8-hour full-time shifts and 4-hour part-time shifts.
  • Openings: We have positions available for both full-time (30+ hours per week) and part-time (less than 29 hours per week).
  • Specific Shift Times:
    • Days: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
    • Evening: 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM
    • Evening (Part-time): 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Role: Culinary/Dietary Aide – Full-time

We are actively seeking a dedicated Culinary/Dietary Aide – Full-time to become a vital part of our culinary team! The Dietary Aide / Server plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences. This position is responsible for serving meals and snacks to residents and their guests, performing essential cleaning routines for the Dietary Department, and ultimately helping to create a relaxing and enjoyable dining atmosphere within our communities.

Key Responsibilities

As a Culinary/Dietary Aide, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Enhancing Dining Experience: Helping to create a restaurant-style dining experience through attentive meal service, outstanding customer service, and collaborative teamwork.
  • Meal Service Accuracy: Following written and oral instructions meticulously, adhering to diet orders/tray cards, and completing work assignments diligently. Ensuring that meal orders are delivered accurately, and any special requests or dietary restrictions are noted and strictly followed.
  • Operational Efficiency: Performing defined work routines efficiently and effectively.
  • Sanitation & Setup: Assisting with comprehensive cleaning routines after meals have concluded and meticulously setting up for the next meal service. Following proper food safety and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and safe environment at all times.
  • Inventory Management: Assisting in the receiving and proper storage of food and supplies as directed by the Culinary Director.
  • Team Collaboration & Development: Attending scheduled department meetings and participating in educational programs to continuously enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Safety & Compliance:
    • Following defined safety codes while performing all duties.
    • Adhering strictly to Infection Control procedures.
    • Understanding the community’s fire and disaster plans and following established procedures during drills and actual emergencies.
    • Maintaining knowledge of federal, state, and the community’s rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
