CRM Data Management Intern | Hyperion Materials & Technologies

The Tone:
This is an internship at Hyperion Materials & Technologies, located in Dublin, OH. Hyperion Materials & Technologies manufactures advanced materials and technologies, and this role supports their global sales and marketing efforts. This position is crucial for systematically enhancing the quality and integrity of the company’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. Your contributions will directly impact the sales and marketing teams’ ability to effectively reach and engage with prospects and customers globally, ultimately driving business growth.

The TL;DR
• Role: Internship
• Location: In-person, Dublin, OH

• Team: Collaborates closely with the Marketing Automation Specialist, Marketing, Segment, and Revenue Operations teams.
• Mission: Systematically enhance CRM quality and integrity to empower sales and marketing, expand reach, identify prospects, deepen customer relationships, and drive business growth.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Dynamics (or other CRM systems)

What You’ll Actually Do
• Database Segmentation: Proactively identify areas for improvement and execute plans to enhance the completeness and accuracy of segmentation data, supporting targeted marketing campaigns.
• Data Cleansing: Methodically identify and develop thorough projects to remove obsolete, redundant, or inaccurate sales and marketing related records within the CRM system.
• Data Enrichment: Perform detailed data extraction to pinpoint missing or incorrect data points and research new, relevant data sources to enrich existing records.
• Training & Documentation: Contribute to the enhancement and creation of intuitive training materials, including documents and videos, for critical CRM marketing functionalities.
• Strategic Collaboration: Collaborate with segment managers and key stakeholders within revenue operations and marketing to align data points and cleansing strategies with strategic requirements.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program with a focus on Management Information Systems (MIS), Data Science, or Business with an analytics specialization, having completed at least two years of college education.
• Experience: A strong academic record demonstrated by a GPA of 3.0 or higher, with demonstrated proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for data manipulation and analysis.
• Skills: Strong analytical and research skills, proven ability to develop positive working relationships, excellent organizational skills to prioritize and manage multiple assignments, and a quick ability to comprehend complex CRM systems and large datasets.
• Bonus: Prior experience with Microsoft Dynamics or other CRM systems.
