About Superior Sports
We are one of the fastest-growing representation agencies in the country, demonstrating rapid success with an increase from 0 to 32 clients in under a year. Our agency is profitable, lean, and systematic, representing a diverse roster of professional athletes including those in the NBA, G-League, and international leagues, as well as elite college talent. We are seeking a talented designer to ensure our clients’ visual presence on social media is as impactful as their performance on the court.
About The Role
We are searching for a true design beast capable of producing polished, professional creative work at the speed of sports. This role is pivotal in shaping the public image and career trajectory of our athletes. You will be responsible for building engaging social content for athletes with millions of followers, crafting compelling pitch decks that secure six-figure deals, and designing impactful recruiting materials that attract top prospects. This is not conceptual work; your creative output will directly impact real athletes’ careers and earnings.
What You’ll Actually Do
- Social Media Content: Develop graphics, carousels, story templates, and branded content for athletes and influencers across various platforms.
- Client Marketing Materials: Create professional one-pagers, media kits, and brand partnership decks that effectively showcase our clients.
- Internal Stakeholder Presentations: Design compelling pitch decks, financial reports, and partnership proposals for internal and external use.
- Recruiting Decks: Produce high-quality materials to attract top high school and transfer portal athletes.
- Brand Identity Work: Uphold and maintain Superior Sports’ visual standards and brand consistency across all client touchpoints.
- Video/Motion Graphics: Perform light video editing and motion design for social content (bonus if you possess strong skills in this area).
You Must Have
- Microsoft Office Suite EXPERT: Profound expertise in PowerPoint and Word is essential (yes, we are serious about this).
- Adobe Photoshop Proficiency: You should be able to layer, mask, and color correct with advanced skill and speed.
- Graphic Design Fundamentals: Strong understanding and application of typography, composition, color theory, and brand consistency.
- Portfolio of Work: A compelling portfolio demonstrating your capabilities is required. Student work is acceptable if it showcases strong design skills.
Bonus Points For
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, After Effects, and Premiere Pro.
- Experience with motion graphics and animation.
- A solid understanding of sports branding and athlete marketing.
- Familiarity with Canva, Figma, or other popular design tools.
- Proven experience in social media content creation (Instagram, TikTok, Twitter/X).
