Creative Production Designer | Bath & Body Works

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Bath & Body Works, located in Columbus, OH. This role is crucial for producing and executing engaging in-store training, engagement, and event materials. These efforts directly contribute to driving customer engagement, sales, and loyalty across various platforms.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Produce and execute in-store training, engagement, and event materials across multiple platforms, including print collateral, UX/UI, presentations, and environmental design.
• Collaborate with project managers, fellow designers, and a Manager to ensure the effective development of entry-level projects from beginning to completion.
• Support the creative team by preparing final designs for print and digital media, focusing on edits and approved designs.
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, consistently meeting deadlines and maintaining a high level of work quality.
• Update and maintain creative files, CC libraries, brand assets, and event props to ensure organized and accessible resources.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Early career professional with an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, illustration, visual communications, marketing, or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 1-2 years of experience within an in-house creative department or design agency, coupled with expert knowledge of the graphic production process. Experience in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is also required.
• Skills: Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud and basic proficiency in UX/UI design. Possess strong creative, organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills, along with a sophisticated aesthetic, technical skill, and knowledge of current design trends. Demonstrated understanding of design principles including composition, color, and hierarchy of messaging, emphasizing typography and photography in layout.
• Bonus: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team, as well as work individually. Adaptable, quick learner, and able to respond effectively and appropriately to creative feedback.
