Job Description: Creative Brand Designer
As the Creative Brand Designer at Klein Tools, you will be a key player in developing and executing high-quality visual assets that bring the brand and product stories to life across various platforms, including digital, print, in-store, and multimedia. Reporting to the Manager, Brand Creative, you will collaborate with various teams to translate marketing objectives into compelling design solutions aligned with the Klein Tools brand identity.
Responsibilities:
• Translate creative direction and campaign concepts into on-brand visual designs for diverse marketing touchpoints (packaging, retail signage, social media, digital ads, emails, video, trade shows, product launches).
• Support the Manager, Brand Creative in developing assets aligned with the overarching creative vision and campaign strategy, collaborating with Product Marketing, Digital, Sales, and Studio teams.
• Contribute to creative brainstorming sessions, proactively suggesting fresh, strategic design ideas.
• Handle photo editing, layout, and asset production for both digital and print, ensuring high quality and consistency.
• Assist in photo shoots, preparing mood boards and storyboards, and collaborating with Studio and A/V teams.
• Maintain organized, production-ready files for internal and external teams, ensuring format consistency.
• Stay updated on design trends, tools, and techniques.
• Constructively receive feedback and iterate design concepts efficiently.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of design experience in an agency or in-house marketing team.
• A strong portfolio showcasing diverse work across branding, digital, print, and campaign design.
Skills & Competencies:
• High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); After Effects or motion tools familiarity is a plus.
• Working knowledge of Figma, Monday.com, and digital asset management tools (e.g., Bynder) is preferred.
• Excellent typography, layout, color theory, and composition skills.
• Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
• Detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Effective cross-discipline collaboration skills.
• Passion for storytelling, visual problem-solving, and brand expression elevation.
• Basic photo/video capture and editing skills.
Physical Demands: The job description includes occasional standing, walking, sitting, lifting up to 25 pounds, and various other physical activities. Specific vision abilities are also required.
Travel: 10% (approximately 3 days per month)
Salary: $65,000-$75,000 annually, plus competitive benefits.
