Cosmetic Beauty Sales Representative

The Cosmetic Beauty Sales Representative is an essential role focused on the in-house marketing, promotion, and direct sale of cosmetic products. This position demands a deep understanding of the products and companies you represent, requiring you to learn their detailed history to effectively communicate it to customers as part of the overall promotional strategy. Leveraging a broad promotional concept, you will have the creative freedom to design and set up eye-catching displays within specified locations.

A significant aspect of this role involves considerable point-of-sale interaction with customers. A fundamental expectation is your ability to significantly and positively impact the sales volume of assigned products through your engagement and expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Positively impacting sales volume through individual in-house and point-of-sale involvement.
  • Greet all customers with enthusiasm, accurately determine their needs, provide courteous and knowledgeable service, and suggest appropriate products by following our established service and selling strategies.
  • Responsible for consistently maintaining the cosmetic line merchandising concepts, including high standards of cleanliness and organization within the store (gondolas, visual displays, product assortment, and drawers).
  • Actively participate in the cosmetic line’s day-to-day business, animation, and in-store events.
  • Continuously pursue additional product knowledge and artistry techniques as needed to enhance skills and service.
  • Participate in store meetings and training seminars as necessary to stay informed and developed.
  • Attract new clients with the ability to engage them quickly and effectively.
  • Create an amazing and memorable experience for all clients through high-touch service.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma / GED required.
  • 1+ year experience as a professional and/or freelance make-up artist.
  • High energy person comfortable approaching and speaking with store customers.
  • Enjoys persuading people in a positive and engaging way.
  • Strong Selling Skills are essential.
  • Goal Oriented with a drive to achieve targets.
  • Fun and Outgoing personality.
  • Ability to do Basic Beauty Make Up.
  • Ability to work a full-time schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to maintain presence on the selling floor for long periods as needed.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods, and to handle boxes of merchandise up to 50 lbs.
  • Military experience a plus.
