Job Description: Corporate Finance Team Intern

This internship is a unique opportunity for independent thinkers with a strong interest in finance and asset management who want to gain practical experience at a world-class investment firm.

Hiring Manager: Finance Director

Employment: Full-time Internship (June 2025 – August 2025)

Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL; New York, NY; Seattle, WA

hourly Rate: $25.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

Data Analysis: Analyze financial data reports to assist in making informed decisions.
Reporting: Prepare internal reports on financial performance, investment strategies, and market conditions for the finance team and other stakeholders.
Research: Conduct market research and industry analysis to support investment strategies and decisions.
Financial Modeling: Build or update financial models to forecast returns and assess the valuation of assets or potential investments.
Compliance and Risk Management: Support compliance with regulatory requirements and help identify and assess risks associated with investments.
Project Assistance: Contribute to various projects, including strategic initiatives and operational improvements.
Software and Tools: Learn to use financial software and tools essential to asset management, such as Bloomberg terminals, Excel, and other proprietary or industry-standard software.
Learning and Development: Actively participate in training sessions and seek feedback to improve understanding of asset management practices.
Contribute fresh, new, and challenging perspectives and ideas.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to collaborative projects.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Basic understanding of financial concepts and investment products.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
