Versant Academic Year Internships: Corporate Finance, Analytics & Human Resources | Versant Media
The Tone:
This is an academic year internship at Versant Media, located in Los Angeles, CA (remote out of office). Versant is a leading force in news, sports, and entertainment, home to iconic and trusted brands such as USA Network, CNBC, MS NOW, Oxygen, E!, SYFY, Golf Channel, Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. This role matters because interns will build foundational skills, contribute to meaningful projects, and gain exposure to the operations of a modern media organization, helping to shape a new experience designed to invest in emerging talent.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Support: Provide support for financial strategy, people operations, and data-driven decision-making across various media brands.
• Analyze: Dive into real projects across corporate, sports, and operations/technology teams, analyzing relevant data.
• Shape: Help shape workforce initiatives within a modern media organization.
• Assist: Aid teams in making smarter, faster decisions through insights and contributions.
• Contribute: Engage in the development of data products within the Data, Insights & Strategic Analytics area.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Must be actively enrolled in a degree-granting program at an accredited institution for the entire program duration OR have a graduation date in Spring 2026. Required class standing is sophomore or above (30 credits). Must be presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States and not require work visa sponsorship from Versant now or in the future.
• Experience: No specific years required, but previous internship experience and on-campus involvement are desired. Must be available to work 24 hours per week from September 14th, 2026, through April 16th, 2027.
• Skills: Data analysis, financial acumen, understanding of people operations, collaborative problem-solving, and eagerness to learn.
• Bonus: Class standing of junior or above, cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above, and a strong interest in the media industry.
