Corporate Communications Internship – 2025
CNO’s Corporate Communications Internship program offers college students a chance to experience the application of communication skills in the insurance industry.
Internship Focus:
• Gain valuable experience with internal communications, public relations, and social media.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with internal departments to assist in the development and execution of internal and external communication plans and materials.
• Utilize content management systems (CMS) and media platforms to create and post communications and media materials to various web and social media channels.
• Assist in development and tracking of strategic and news content for internal and external audiences.

Program Dates: May 12th through August 1st, 2025.
Work Schedule: 40 hours per week for 10-12 weeks.

• Remote (Eastern or Central Time Zone)
Qualifications:
• Progress towards a bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related discipline.
• Status as a rising junior or rising senior, graduating between December 2025 and June 2027.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0.
• Availability to work 40 hours per week for 10-12 weeks during the summer.
• Experience using Microsoft Excel and other Office products.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS), graphic and video software, or media relations tools/databases is preferred but not required.
• Must possess unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
