Summer 2027 Internship: Corporate Accounting | QTS Data Centers

The Tone:
This is a summer internship at QTS Data Centers, located in a currently unspecified location. This role offers first-hand experience into the data center industry through a comprehensive program including weekly lunch and learns, orientation, and site activities, with assigned initiatives tied to real company objectives within the corporate accounting environment.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Auditing: Support internal audit processes.
• Reporting: Assist with internal and external financial reporting tasks.
• Transaction Processing: Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Approvals: Facilitate the approval of invoices and requisitions.
• Analysis: Approve and create projects, journal entries, and perform financial analysis.

The Must-Haves
• Background: This is an entry-level internship for candidates actively pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Experience: No specific prior professional experience is required for basic qualifications, but the role provides exposure to real-world corporate accounting functions.
• Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint for presentations and Excel for data analysis and budgeting, strong verbal and written communication skills, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, and must be a US Citizen.
• Bonus: Current full-time enrollment in one of QTS’s partner institutions (Arizona State University, Auburn University, Kansas State University, Georgia State University, Southern Adventist University, Texas A&M University, University of Kansas) or Blackstone LaunchPad partner schools. Previous internship or co-op experience in construction, finance, technology, HR, or facilities engineering is also a plus, as is experience with data analysis tools such as Tableau or Power BI, and involvement in community activities like athletics, clubs, volunteering, or part-time employment.
