About the Team:
The Design Studio content team at Tesla is responsible for establishing and maintaining Tesla’s brand voice in all customer-facing content. This includes web pages, email communications, in-store posters, and other materials. The team ensures accuracy and consistency in all communications with both prospective and existing customers. The internship is located at the Tesla Design Studio in Hawthorne, CA.
Job Description:
As a Content & Copywriting Intern, you will:
• Support the global Design Studio content and copywriting team: Work on customer-facing communications, both digital and print.
• Implement Tesla’s brand voice: Ensure consistent tone and messaging in all written communications.
• Maintain accuracy: Guarantee accuracy in tone, product descriptions, and specifications across all assignments.
• Create copy: Write copy for customer-facing communications based on provided briefs or outlines.
• Meet deadlines: Adhere to project deadlines and keep project partners informed of milestones.
• Proofread and edit: Review and edit drafts from internal teams.
• Validate copy: Investigate and verify the accuracy of copy.
• Brainstorm ideas: Develop creative and engaging content for customers.
• Track analytics: Monitor and record content performance data.
Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing a degree in Communications, Journalism, Advertising, or a related field.
• Interest in technology and/or sustainability.
• Ability to produce high-quality writing under pressure.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent copywriting and editing skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience writing for a school newspaper (preferred).
Compensation: $20.00 – $50.00/hour + benefits (details provided upon offer).
