The TL;DR

• Type: Hybrid – Visa requires at least 3 days in office
• Location: Auckland, New Zealand
• Team: Reports to a Director in the Consulting Delivery team for Australia, New Zealand and Pacific Islands.
• Mission: Drives tangible, impactful, and financial results for Visa’s clients by solving strategic problems in the payments industry.
• Tech Stack: GenAI tools, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
What You’ll Actually Do
• Research: Identify global best practices and surface relevant insights through research, leveraging Visa and partner resources.
• Analysis: Analyze and validate diverse content, including client information, data, and competitive insights, to support strategic decision-making.
• Solutions: Identify solutions and recommendations that directly address client objectives and drive performance improvement.
• Deliverables: Create compelling deliverables to clearly illustrate findings, ideas, and recommendations in client engagements.
• Materials: Develop comprehensive project materials, including workshop content, interview guides, and conceptual frameworks.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Minimum of 3 years of full-time work experience, with technical consulting skills gained through management consulting, business advisory, or financial services, supported by strong undergraduate academic accomplishment.
• Experience: Demonstrated consulting skills including problem-solving, structured thinking, client engagement, research, analysis, workshop facilitation, and preparing deliverables.
• Skills: Strong analytical capabilities for critical review and synthesis of materials, team-based and cross-functional collaboration, program/project management, and technical proficiency in GenAI tools, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Bonus: Highly desirable experience in banking or payments, coupled with an intellectually curious, data-driven approach and comfort navigating ambiguity.
