The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Deloitte. This role is crucial within the Modeling & Insights team, where you will transform complex financial data into clarity for strategic decisions. You will empower clients to act with confidence on business planning, transactions, and operational assessments.

• Team: Modeling & Insights (M&I) team, a practice within Valuation & Modeling within Strategy & Transactions (S&T).
• Mission: Transform complex financial data into clarity through financial expertise and modeling tools to provide clients confidence for strategic decisions.
• Tech Stack: Power BI, Tableau, VBA, Python, SQL

What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Support: Guide clients through decision-making processes for transactions, business planning, and operational assessments.
• Model Development: Construct financial models and analyses for strategic business planning and operational decision-making.
• Insight Generation: Analyze model outputs and present actionable findings to clients and other stakeholders.
• Tool Enhancement: Design and improve scalable modeling tools to support scenario analysis, sensitivity analysis, and long-term planning.
• Team & Practice: Coach junior practitioners and contribute to practice development, marketing, and training initiatives.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field, with a focus on financial modeling and strategic planning.
• Experience: At least 2 years of financial modeling experience, coupled with 2 years in consulting or industry roles supporting financial modeling and strategic client deliverables. Demonstrated experience developing models for transactions and business planning, and presenting technical findings to non-technical stakeholders. Willingness to travel approximately 30% for client engagements.
• Skills: Proficient written and verbal communication, meticulous attention to detail and work quality, ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks, and capacity to lead projects or workstreams. Effective collaboration and independent work capabilities.
• Bonus: Progress towards CPA, CFA, or an equivalent professional credential. Experience with advanced analytical tools such as Power BI, Tableau, VBA, Python, or SQL for finance-led models.
