This is a Consultant role at FTI Consulting. FTI Consulting is a leading global expert firm dedicated to helping organizations facing crisis and transformation. What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Monitoring: Monitor, analyze, and synthesize market-moving news and developments from various sources to keep clients well-informed.
• Program Execution: Contribute to the development and execution of strategic investor relations programs for clients across various industries.
• Research and Analysis: Perform detailed and accurate research to underpin all client projects and deliverables, turning investor feedback into useful advice.
• Message Development: Assist in the development of corporate messages that position a company’s story to relevant stakeholder groups.
• Logistics Management: Handle logistics for investor relations programs, including distributing press releases, setting up earnings calls, and liaising with vendors.
The Must-Haves
• Background: 1 year of experience in sell-side research, equity asset management, investment banking, financial communications, or investor relations, with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Experience: Analyzing 10-K documents, earnings reports, investor presentations, and other public company financial data, along with proficiency in either Capital IQ or FactSet platforms.
• Skills: Strong quantitative and qualitative research skills, excellent written and oral presentation abilities, demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
• Bonus: CFA or FSA Credential, the ability to recognize and explore a broad range of ideas, and adeptness at managing priorities across multiple client assignments.
