Project Management Intern | Chapter
The Tone:
This is a full-time, on-site internship at Chapter, located in Miami, Florida. Chapter is a builder-led design-build firm specializing in high-end residential renovations across multiple states, including Florida. The company focuses on delivering high-quality execution, clear communication, and reliable project delivery for clients. This role is a hands-on opportunity for an individual to gain real exposure to the daily operations of high-end residential construction and project management, serving as a structured path toward long-term growth within the company.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Project Management Support: Assist in managing residential renovation projects from their initial stages through to completion.
• Documentation and Estimation: Support the preparation of proposals, review drawings, perform material takeoffs, and develop cost estimates.
• Site Coordination: Conduct daily visits to multiple active project sites, ensuring smooth on-site operations.
• Stakeholder Communication: Assist with ongoing client communication and facilitate project updates throughout various phases.
• Administrative Oversight: Support file management, process RFIs, submittals, and change orders, and help coordinate material procurement and tracking.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. Candidates must have a background in construction through education, prior experience, or both.
• Experience: Requires a 6-month commitment. Must have access to a car and a valid driver’s license for daily site visits.
• Skills: Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, excellent written and verbal communication skills, capacity to thrive in a collaborative environment, proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, and an eagerness to learn and take ownership.
• Bonus: Familiarity with AutoCAD or Revit is a plus.
