Sunroc is hiring a Construction Intern to assist location operation managers with daily tasks and business process improvements. This is a great opportunity to gain valuable industry experience while taking your education to the next level.
Things You’ll Do:
• Assist location operation managers to plan and review daily work and make business process improvements as directed by the Area Manager
• Assist with daily business duties, including, preparing material price quotes, sampling materials, preparing submittal information for projects, coordinating logistics with suppliers and data entry into key systems
• Learn about the construction material industry through assisting managers.
• Input job data into estimating software.
• Learn about the construction industry through assisting managers.
• Track supply quantities for billing purposes.
Requirements:
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Currently enrolled in Bachelor of Science degree program studying Construction management or Civil Engineering.
• Intermediate knowledge of construction industry.
• Good public relations and communication skills.
• Good organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, deal with budgets, and tight project schedules.
