Computer Vision Software Internship for Summer 2026 | Brooks Automation

What You’ll Actually Do
• Develop: Create new image processing algorithms specifically for robotic systems.
• Test: Evaluate the performance and functionality of image processing algorithms.
• Collect: Gather data essential for the training and testing phases of computer vision models.
• Train: Build and optimize computer vision models using collected data.
• Improve: Enhance existing image processing algorithms to optimize performance and capabilities.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Computer Science or a similar field.
• Experience: Practical experience with Computer Vision and Image Processing algorithms, including object detection/tracking, segmentation analysis, and depth estimation.
• Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and/or C++ and C#, along with experience using GIT source control and containerization technologies.
• Bonus: Knowledge of current Deep Learning (DL) literature and the mathematical foundations of machine learning; Experience in working on robotics and motion control related software.
