Community Operations Intern | Faraday Future

The Tone:
This is an internship at Faraday Future, a California-based technology company focused on the design, engineering, and development of intelligent, connected electric vehicles and related AI technologies. The company is disrupting the automotive and technology industries by creating user-centric, technology-first experiences, expanding into AI electric vehicles, robotics, and its crypto business with Web3 integration. This role is crucial for supporting day-to-day community operations, ensuring active engagement across multiple platforms, and turning user feedback into actionable insights to shape the future of intelligent transportation.

The TL;DR
• Role: Internship
• Location: In-person, El Segundo, CA

• Mission: Support day-to-day community operations across key platforms, keeping the community active and engaged while leveraging user feedback for insights.
• Tech Stack: WeChat, Discord, Xiaohongshu

What You’ll Actually Do
• Community Management: Manage daily community operations across WeChat, Discord, and Xiaohongshu, fostering conversations, answering questions, and maintaining engagement.
• Event Operations: Plan and execute community events like hackathons, tech talks, and developer meetups from program design and promotion to on-site execution and retrospectives.
• Content Creation: Create compelling community content and campaign copy, and curate high-quality user-generated content.
• Insights & Reporting: Gather user feedback, deliver weekly community metrics reports, and nurture key opinion consumers.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or above. Career level: Student. Core domain knowledge includes the North American humanoid robotics industry (e.g., Tesla Optimus, Figure, 1X) and the Web3 space.
• Experience: Strong writing skills and fluency with major social platforms. Prior experience running social accounts or communities is a plus.
• Skills: Empathetic, highly organized, and execution-driven work style. Solid understanding of Web3 community culture, DAO governance, and common playbooks such as airdrops, whitelists, and NFT communities.
