Job Description:

This posting is for the Community College Internship (CCI) program at PNNL. The CCI program is designed to encourage undergraduate students and recent graduates to pursue careers in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) fields.

Key aspects of the internship:

Research Experience: Selected students participate as interns at PNNL (one of the 17 participating DOE laboratories/facilities).
Project Focus: Interns work under the guidance of laboratory staff scientists or engineers on projects supporting the DOE mission.
Eligibility: Applicants must meet the eligibility requirements established and verified by the DOE-WDTS (Workforce Development for Teachers and Scientists) system. A current application in the WDTS system is required. A link to the detailed eligibility requirements is provided.
Citizenship: Applicants must be U.S. Citizens or Lawful Permanent Residents at the time of application.
Location: The position is located at PNNL in eastern Washington state.
Compensation: The hourly pay range is USD $16.66/Hr. to USD $30.00/Hr. (Placement within this range is determined by skills, qualifications, and experience).
