Job Description

This posting is for the Community College Internship (CCI) program at PNNL, which is designed to encourage undergraduate students and recent graduates to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). Selected students participate as interns appointed at PNNL or one of the other 17 participating DOE laboratories/facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Perform research under the guidance of laboratory staff scientists or engineers.
• Work on projects supporting the DOE mission.
• Participate as an intern appointed at PNNL.

Qualifications:

• Applicants must meet the eligibility requirements established and verified by DOE-WDTS (Workforce Development for Teachers and Scientists).
• A current application in the Workforce Development for Teachers and Scientist (WDTS) system is required.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident at the time of application.

Key Information:

• The position is temporary hourly.
• Employees are offered an employee assistance program and business travel insurance.
Minimum Salary: USD $16.66/Hr.
Maximum Salary: USD $30.00/Hr.
