Marketing Communications Specialist | Cummins Inc.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Coordinate Marketing Operations: Supports executional excellence across global marketing operations, including event logistics, campaign coordination, trade show preparation, digital content updates, reporting, and asset management.
• Manage Cross-functional Activities: Coordinates cross-functional marketing activities with regional teams, product managers, agencies, and internal stakeholders to ensure projects move forward on time and with strong communication alignment.
• Develop Marketing Materials: Drafts marketing communication plans and assets, and supports content creation and visual execution needs, including graphic design support and social media assets for launches and events.
• Execute Events and Engage Audiences: Prepares and executes virtual and in-person events that create memorable experiences and deepen connections to the Cummins brand.
• Analyze Campaign Performance: Assists in monitoring and analyzing campaign performance data, providing insights and recommendations to improve marketing efforts by applying knowledge of digital marketing tools, trends, and channels.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related subject, or a STEM background, completed within the past 2 years from an accredited US University.
• Experience: Experience supporting marketing campaigns, trade shows, digital marketing activities, or event coordination in a corporate or internship setting, coupled with excellent time management and strong project management skills to meet deadlines.
• Skills: Strong organizational and project coordination skills, effective multi-mode communication (written and verbal) with attention to detail, strong analytical skills and proficiency in using marketing analytics tools, digital media savvy, and the ability to work independently, learn quickly, and manage ambiguity collaboratively.
• Bonus: Digital marketing experience, B2B experience, basic graphic design or video editing experience using tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
