Commercial Card Relationship Manager | Truist Financial Corporation

The Tone:
This is a full-time, regular role at Truist Financial Corporation, operating within the United States. Truist provides comprehensive financial services, and this role specifically supports the ongoing management and expansion of commercial card relationships. This position is crucial for building strong client partnerships, driving program usage, offering additional services, and ultimately accelerating revenue and portfolio growth within assigned regions.

• Team: Part of the Commercial Card Relationship Management (CCRM) team, partnering with Treasury Card Sales Officers and Regional Banking teams.
• Mission: Accelerate revenue and portfolio growth through increasing Commercial/Regional card program production, serving as the Truist Commercial Card Brand.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Drive commercial card production and profitability for assigned regions by collaborating with Treasury Card Sales Officers and Regional Banking teams, managing client and teammate relationships.
• Maintain deep expertise in supported commercial card products, market opportunities, the competitive environment, and commercial card goals, proactively researching payment space changes and sharing findings with the CCRM team.
• Participate in the full Commercial Card sales cycle, engaging with Treasury Card Sales officers to ensure a consistent and successful client experience from implementation to program realization, and monitoring deal profitability.
• Manage an assigned portfolio of programs to foster retention and growth of commercial card spend, conducting regular client reviews and coaching and mentoring junior teammates.
• Engage actively with internal partners through various channels, including training, regional presentations, and consistent communication, to keep commercial card solutions top of mind.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Undergraduate Degree in a Business discipline or equivalent education and related training, coupled with extensive experience in the commercial card industry.
• Experience: Minimum of 8 years of Commercial Card industry experience, with a preference for roles in sales or account management.
• Skills: Proven leadership in managing cross-functional projects and strategic thinking; ability to navigate competing pressures, handle complex projects/clients, and adhere to deadlines; strong capacity for independent work and developing customized solutions for internal and external partners; detailed understanding of Truist’s Commercial Card products, platforms, and processes; fluency in English.
• Bonus: Industry certifications relating to Commercial Card Solutions; Master’s Degree in Business; 5+ years of experience working in the Banking Industry.
