Coherent Sales & Technical Support Intern | Coherent Corp.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Data Analysis: Analyze raw data derived from internal databases to inform and support sales and marketing strategies, contributing to data-driven decision-making.
• Documentation Management: Organize, update, and meticulously maintain product specifications, datasheets, and parameter tables across various digital platforms, ensuring information is current and accessible.
• Customer Support: Assist in the management of customer inquiries, providing support for both pre-sale and post-sale activities, and accurately documenting all communication for tracking and reference.
• Information Accuracy: Collaborate closely with engineering and product management teams to verify and ensure the accuracy of all product-related information, maintaining high standards of data integrity.
• Sales Operations: Provide essential support to sales operations, which may include tasks such as CRM system management, identification of potential leads, or assisting with the execution of email marketing campaigns.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Business, Marketing, Engineering, or Physics, typically in the 3rd or 4th year of study. This role is designed for students seeking practical experience in a technical domain.
• Skills: Demonstrated strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, specifically for advanced data manipulation tasks and analysis. Possesses exceptional attention to detail, crucial for maintaining accurate product information. Exhibits excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective customer and team interactions. Must be highly motivated, capable of working independently, and eager to learn in a technical environment.
• Bonus: Familiarity with CRM systems, such as Salesforce or Oracle, is considered a valuable advantage. Prior experience working with AI Tools is also a beneficial qualification for this role.
