Coffee Attendant | HVMG – Hospitality Ventures Management Group

The TL;DR
• Role: Coffee Attendant
• Type: Varied schedule, typically 5:30am – 3:00pm; includes early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Location: In-person
• Team: Works under the direct supervision of the Beverage Manager or Bistro Supervisor.
• Mission: To create a consistently welcoming guest experience by preparing and serving high-quality coffee and specialty beverages with efficiency and precision.
• Tech Stack: Coffee machines, espresso machines
What You’ll Actually Do
• Guest Engagement: Create a consistently welcoming experience for guests by engaging with them and serving delicious coffee and espresso drinks with a smile.
• Beverage Crafting: Prepare and serve a variety of high-quality coffee and specialty beverages with speed and precision, ensuring all orders meet guest expectations.
• Workspace Maintenance: Operate coffee and espresso machines efficiently while consistently maintaining a clean, organized, and hygienic workspace.
• Quality Adherence: Ensure every coffee and specialty beverage order consistently meets established brand and quality standards of HVMG.
• Service Excellence: Provide exceptional customer service, acting as the bright start to guests’ mornings and reflecting HVMG’s Culture of Excellence.
The Must-Haves
• Background: No specific educational minimum is required; applicants must possess sufficient education and/or literacy to identify and read product labels, and to communicate effectively with guests regarding job-related needs.
• Experience: Prior experience in a similar or related position within the hospitality or food service industry is essential for this role.
• Skills:
• Proficient ability to operate coffee and espresso machines.
• Demonstrated capability to provide exceptional customer service and clear communication with guests.
• Strong organizational skills to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace.
• Physical ability to perform job duties, including sitting, standing, bending, kneeling, and lifting, with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, which may include early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Bonus: Previous experience working in a hotel environment.
