Job Description:

This Co-Op position offers a unique opportunity for students to gain practical experience within a corporate environment while contributing to FedEx’s ongoing transformation initiatives. You’ll work alongside experienced professionals, engaging in projects that align with your field of study and provide valuable skills development.

Responsibilities:

• Project Support: You’ll contribute to both small and large-scale projects, assisting with planning, scheduling, research, and status reporting.
• Functional Area Expertise: You’ll gain exposure to different departments and gain valuable knowledge in your chosen field.
• Data Analysis: You’ll conduct research, analyze data, and create reports to support project goals and department needs.
• System Development: You’ll contribute to creating and updating systems and databases to enhance department efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Education: Currently enrolled in an accredited college, university, or technical school with at least one year of education completed.
• Skills: Strong software skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office software and web-based applications. Knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus for specific positions.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling clear and concise communication with colleagues and management.
• Time Management & Organization: Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively, prioritize responsibilities, and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
• Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to review, analyze, and present recommendations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Background in Industrial Engineering with a focus on process improvement.
• Technical skills in Python, SQL, and Microsoft applications (Power BI, Excel, Power Automate).
• Experience with data mining and building/utilizing dashboards.

Benefits:

• Competitive hourly pay ranging from $25.00 to $30.00.

Additional Details:

• This is a full-time, 40-hour per week Co-Op position.
• This is the first rotation of a 2-3 rotation program.
