• Team: Reports to Closing Managers and Directors.
• Mission: This person owns the coordination of project milestones and the preparation of transaction closing materials, ensuring seamless communication and document flow with internal teams and external financing partners for successful funding events.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint
What You’ll Actually Do
• Due Diligence: Support investor and lender due diligence across construction debt, term financing, joint ventures, and tax equity deals.
• Data Room Management: Build and manage electronic data rooms that enable seamless financing processes and successful closings.
• Timeline Monitoring: Monitor critical milestones and financing timelines to keep transactions moving forward efficiently.
• Process Leadership: Drive project financial closing processes and associated deliverables forward under the guidance of Closing Managers and Directors.
• Communication Flow: Facilitate consistent communication and document flow between internal teams and external partners for transaction execution.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Minimum requirement of a Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, energy, sustainability, engineering, or a closely related field, providing a foundational understanding relevant to the project finance and renewable energy sectors.
• Experience: 0–2 years of relevant professional experience, which includes internships or entry-level roles within finance, the energy industry, consulting, or other directly related fields, demonstrating foundational exposure to transactional environments.
• Skills:
• Demonstrated excellent organizational skills and acute attention to detail to manage complex document flows and processes.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently and consistently meet deadlines within a dynamic project environment.
• Possess strong written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with internal teams and external partners.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with particular expertise required in Excel for data management and PowerPoint for presentation development.
• Bonus: An interest in renewable energy, project finance, and transaction execution, alongside a strong analytical mindset and a willingness to learn and accept feedback.
