Clean Energy Rotation Program (Entry-Level) | Renewable Careers

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Renewable Careers, located in New York, NY (hybrid). Renewable Careers is a renewable energy company that develops, builds, owns, and operates clean energy projects across the United States, including utility-scale solar, wind, and battery energy storage (BESS). This two-year rotational program is designed for early-career professionals to gain a comprehensive understanding of the entire clean energy business, preparing them to lead future work in the industry.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Rotate through core functions: Complete three eight-month rotations across Development, Engineering & Construction, and Finance & Asset Management.
• Contribute to live projects: Work as a full team member, delivering analysis, modeling, applications, technical reviews, and site visits for ongoing clean energy projects.
• Present findings: Share your project work and insights with senior leadership at the conclusion of each rotation.
• Learn and develop: Receive mentorship and guidance from experienced developers, engineers, and financiers throughout the program.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental science, economics, finance, business, or a related field.
• Experience: Entry-level position; no prior energy industry experience is required.
• Skills: Strong analytical skills, comfort with data and spreadsheets, clear communication, and adaptability to new teams and challenges.
• Bonus: Prior internships, research, or campus involvement demonstrating initiative are a plus.
