• Mission: Serve as the crucial first point of contact for Warrior Insurance Network (WIN) customers, providing initial claims assistance, offering clear process information, and delivering empathetic support to resolve issues and guide them through their claims journey.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Initial Claim Intake: Serve as the crucial first point of contact by taking initial reports of losses from insureds and claimants, accurately capturing all necessary details to initiate the claims process.
• Customer Process Guidance: Provide clear, initial information about the claims process to customers, ensuring they understand the next steps, and refer them for estimates when coverage is applicable.
• Adjuster & Customer Liaison: Assist adjusters by answering their claim-related questions and effectively guiding customers through their claims journey, acting as a valuable bridge between customers and the claims team.
• Issue Resolution & Record Keeping: Accurately document all claim details, interactions, and resolutions within the system, addressing and resolving customer issues promptly and effectively.
• Operational & Administrative Support: Maintain required call volume in line with unit objectives and actively contribute to various ongoing unit responsibilities, such as processing tow bills, ordering police reports, mailing claim checks, handling unmatched mail, and working on special projects as directed, to ensure smooth departmental operations.
The Must-Haves
• Background: This role is suited for an early career professional who possesses a foundational understanding of customer service principles and is eager to develop a basic understanding of insurance policies related to losses. While a specific degree is not mandated, a High School Diploma or Equivalent is preferred.
• Experience: No specific number of years of experience is required, however, prior customer service experience is highly valued. Additionally, any prior insurance experience would be considered a significant advantage for this position.
• Skills: Demonstrable excellent phone communication skills are essential, alongside solid organizational and interpersonal skills. Candidates must also possess good typing/data entry skills, achieving a minimum of 30 WPM, and good overall PC proficiency for navigating various systems.
• Bonus: A High School Diploma or Equivalent, previous customer service experience, and prior experience within the insurance industry.
