Site Payments Intern- Spring 2027 | Medpace

The Tone:
This is an office-based internship at Medpace, located in Cincinnati, OH. Medpace is a full-service clinical contract research organization providing comprehensive clinical development services to the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and medical device industries. This role is essential for gaining meaningful financial experience and contributing to the efficient management of site payments, directly supporting the acceleration of safe and effective medical therapeutics through clinical research.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Data Entry: Perform daily financial data entry, including classifying, verifying, and recording accounts payable transactions.
• System Setup: Manage system requirements necessary for tracking and administering site payments for designated studies.
• Payment Processing: Assist in the calculation and processing of site payments for assigned studies.
• Fund Request: Handle the process for requesting sponsor funds and invoicing, as needed.
• Inquiry Management: Oversee accounts payable inquiries, communication, and reporting activities.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business.
• Experience: Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
• Skills: Excellent organization and time-management; ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines; high attention to detail and accountability; demonstrated professionalism and confidentiality.
