• Mission: This role conducts financial analysis, market research, and supports business development and process optimization within Citi’s Services organization, focusing on the integration of advanced analytics and AI.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Analytical platforms, AI-specific tools (e.g., natural language processing applications, machine learning dashboards)
What You’ll Actually Do
• Market Research: Conduct market research to assess industry trends and the impact of macroeconomic factors.
• Business Development: Develop materials that support business development, product commercialization, and revenue growth, identifying opportunities where data-driven insights and AI capabilities can add value.
• Process Optimization: Assist with process optimization initiatives to enhance efficiency and mitigate risk, potentially exploring how AI/ML tools can automate tasks or improve decision-making.
• Client Data Analysis: Analyze client data to identify opportunities and improve service offerings, leveraging various analytical techniques, including interpreting insights derived from advanced analytical models.
• Reporting & Presentations: Prepare reports and presentations for internal stakeholders and senior leadership, effectively communicating complex data analysis and potentially insights from AI-driven tools.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Junior in college, graduating between December 2027 and May 2028, with an interest in financial services and how technology, including AI, is transforming the industry.
• Experience: Entry-level role with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data analysis, lookups, basic modeling), and working knowledge of PowerPoint and Outlook. Exposure to analytical platforms or an eagerness to learn about AI-specific tools is beneficial.
• Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, excellent communication skills, a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, including a proactive interest in understanding AI methodologies.
• Bonus: Preferred GPA of 3.5 or above, demonstrated curiosity about how AI is being leveraged for efficiency, client experience, and risk management, and no requirement for U.S. work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.
