Chemical Handling Technician | X-Bow Systems
The Tone:
This is a full-time role at X-Bow Systems, located in Luling, TX. X-Bow Systems is rapidly growing and works in lab and production operations involving chemical processing. As a Chemical Handling Technician, you will be an integral part of ensuring the smooth flow of materials, proper waste management, equipment upkeep, and direct involvement in chemical processing and production, adapting to new challenges as the company expands.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Material Transfer: Manage the onsite transfer of materials to maintain inventory in active lab and production facilities.
• Waste Management: Facilitate the transfer of waste materials in strict accordance with facility and site policies.
• Equipment Maintenance: Perform maintenance and cleaning for chemical processing equipment.
• Facility Operations: Maintain the inventory of personal protective equipment (PPE) across all active facilities.
• Production Support: Assist with the preparation of raw materials and conduct full chemical mixes.
The Must-Haves
• Background: H.S. diploma; experience in chemical handling/process environments.
• Experience: 2+ years of related experience working in chemical handling/process environments, with demonstrated proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Skills: Ability to safely handle hazardous chemicals; physical capability to perform operations lasting 5+ hours on feet; aptitude for cleaning lab equipment; adherence to procedures and accurate documentation in web-based applications.
• Bonus: Hands-on mechanical aptitude; experience operating and maintaining lab equipment; familiarity with basic fabrication techniques such as machining or welding; experience using CAD for models, drawings, or Bills of Material (BOM); comfort with periodic repetitive tasks.
