The TL;DR

• Pay: $17–$19 hourly
• Mission: Ensure the accuracy of all customer orders leaving and returning to the warehouse, documenting and correcting discrepancies before loading or finalizing check-in.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Verify Customer Orders: Inspect built pallets for proper construction, stabilization, and security, and review pick tickets to confirm correct product types and quantities.
• Inspect Returning Trucks: Assess the condition of returning route delivery trucks for the check-in process and perform blind counts to reconcile reported quantities.
• Document Discrepancies: Record all discrepancies, changes, additions, or subtractions found on customer orders or returning trucks on appropriate reports and provide information to relevant personnel.
• Account for Returns: Classify and account for all returned products and deposit items from route delivery trucks, categorizing them as out-of-date, damaged, or good items.
• Maintain Workspace: Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the work area and warehouse, performing additional tasks such as pallet building as requested by management.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. High school diploma or GED, with a fundamental understanding of basic math.
• Experience: Up to 12 months of work experience.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, proficiency in basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication), ability to coordinate and organize efficient warehouse processes, ability to differentiate packages, and an intentional self-starter who takes initiative.
• Bonus: PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) Certification and Pallet Jack Certification.
