Program Manager: DL KIX | CBRE

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at CBRE, located in-person in Osaka, Osaka. The company focuses on the creation and delivery of strategic programs representing major company initiatives. This role is crucial for managing a team responsible for facilitating small to medium cross-functional projects and programs, ensuring the successful execution of key company objectives.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Manage Team Performance: Provide formal supervision, monitor training, conduct performance evaluations, coach employees, and oversee the recruitment and hiring of staff.
• Coordinate Daily Operations: Coordinate and manage the team’s daily activities, establish work schedules, assign tasks, cross-train staff, and set and track deadlines.
• Direct Program Execution: Oversee cross-functional projects or programs from end to end using a formal process, ensuring all functions remain on schedule and issues are escalated and resolved.
• Build Stakeholder Relationships: Manage internal and external relationships in support of programs, work with core teams to develop solutions, and establish and maintain effective client relationships.
• Report and Evaluate Programs: Create and distribute routine PMO reports, including status updates and Gantt charts, and conduct financial or business evaluations.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Manager level, with a Bachelor’s Degree preferred and 5-8 years of relevant experience. A combination of experience and education will be considered. Candidates should possess in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques for complex assignments and innovative solutions.
• Experience: 5-8 years of experience in relevant program management. This role requires the ability to apply in-depth knowledge within the job discipline and broad knowledge across several related functions.
• Skills: In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products, strong organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset, sophisticated math skills for calculating percentages, fractions, and other financial figures, and the ability to exercise judgment based on analysis of multiple information sources.
• Bonus: PgMP or PMP certifications are preferred. Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, rewarding performance, and retention is also preferred.
