What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Management: Maintain regular, clear communication with clients, providing updates and managing expectations throughout their legal journey.
• Case Oversight: Oversee and meticulously manage assigned client cases, tracking progress, and ensuring all necessary actions are taken promptly to advance their claims.
• Legal Coordination: Coordinate effectively with attorneys to advance case strategies and ensure seamless collaboration, while also liaising with medical providers to gather pertinent information.
• Documentation & Review: Gather, organize, and accurately update all necessary documents and case files, conduct thorough claims review, and uphold high standards of case documentation.
• Process Adherence & Support: Ensure all critical deadlines are met and actively assist with both pre-litigation and litigation processes as required by the legal team.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Possess a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or demonstrate equivalent professional experience that provides a strong foundation for managing legal cases effectively.
• Experience: Bring at least one year of direct experience in case management, specifically including practical involvement and support for legal processes like pre-litigation and litigation.
• Skills: Exhibit strong case management capabilities, including meticulous file organization, comprehensive claims review, and accurate document preparation. Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills crucial for building rapport with clients and collaborating seamlessly with attorneys. Show a detail-oriented approach coupled with superior organizational and time management abilities, alongside a proven proficiency in utilizing legal software and other relevant technology tools.
• Bonus: Knowledge of personal injury law or prior work experience within a legal environment is highly advantageous for this role.
