What You’ll Actually Do
• Personal Care & Hygiene: Provide personalized assistance with daily living activities (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, and dressing, ensuring client comfort, dignity, and respecting individual preferences and privacy.
• Support & Mobility: Support clients with crucial mobility assistance, actively helping them move safely and confidently around their homes to prevent falls and encourage independence.
• Home Environment & Meals: Perform essential light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment, and thoughtfully prepare meals considering specific dietary needs and preferences, assisting with feeding if necessary.
• Companionship & Observation: Offer genuine companionship and emotional support, actively engaging clients in conversation and activities to foster their overall well-being, while diligently observing and reporting any changes in their condition to ensure continuous, high-quality care.
• Medication Reminders: Administer timely medication reminders to ensure clients consistently take their prescribed medications as scheduled, promoting adherence and effective health management.

The Must-Haves
• Background: This role requires a foundational understanding of providing essential care and support to individuals in a home setting, driven by a genuine passion for making a positive difference in others’ lives.
• Experience: Demonstrated experience in offering personalized personal care, assisting with a range of daily living activities, and proactively supporting client well-being. Prior roles requiring empathy and reliability in a care environment are highly valued.
