• Mission: This person will perform and train in various responsibilities under their career concentration, gaining valuable insight into Sodexo’s business practices and contributing to team success.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Operational & Departmental Support: Assist frontline teams in various daily operations, including food service, maintenance, cleaning, equipment use, cooking, and serving functions across diverse facilities, gaining exposure to different career concentrations such as culinary or general operations.
• Hands-on Event Execution: Contribute to large-scale food and beverage operations by assisting with event preparation, setup, and service execution, alongside providing support for guest relations.
• Administrative and Data Management: Perform essential back-office tasks, including inventory management, data entry, filing, reporting, and updating critical documentation as required.
• Compliance & Process Improvement: Actively learn and rigorously follow all department guidelines, operational procedures, and safety standards, while also providing constructive feedback to foster continuous improvement.
• Business Acumen Development: Gain valuable insight into Sodexo’s comprehensive business practices, operational standards, and leadership principles, which contributes directly to the overall success of the team and various departments.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Must be currently pursuing a college degree.
• Experience: No prior experience is required for this internship role.
• Skills: Strong interest in pursuing a career within hospitality, food service, facility management, or event management. This role requires the ability to assist with daily operational tasks, learn and adhere to department guidelines and safety standards, perform basic administrative duties such as data entry and filing, and effectively support event preparation and service.
