What You’ll Actually Do
• AI & Automation Leadership: Champion the identification, prototyping, and deployment of AI-driven solutions across CABO’s full operational footprint, converting recurring manual processes into intelligent, scalable systems.
• Management Company Books & Records: Safeguard the integrity of CABO’s management company books and records with meticulous attention to detail, progressively layering in AI-assisted reconciliations, anomaly detection, and reporting for enhanced accuracy and speed.
• General Partner Books & Schedules: Support the precise upkeep of CABO’s General Partner books, records, and deferred compensation schedules, ensuring allocations and balances are reliably maintained and increasingly automated end-to-end.
• Long-Range Projections & Financial Modeling: Contribute to the maintenance and evolution of CABO’s five-year projections and supporting models, partnering with leadership to keep assumptions current and stress-test scenarios with AI-augmented analysis.
• Expense Oversight & Efficiency: Take ownership of supporting workstreams across T&E reporting, CABO funds expenses, and related expense reviews, building AI-assisted classification, exception detection, and review tooling.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, economics, computer science, engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.
• Experience: 1–3 years of experience in finance, accounting, financial services, consulting, or a related analytical role; strong internship experience is considered.
• Skills: Demonstrable passion for and hands-on fluency with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft Copilot, agentic platforms), strong Excel and financial modeling skills, exceptional organizational and project management abilities, strong written and verbal communication, and sound judgment in handling confidential information.
• Bonus: Working familiarity with Python, scripting, or low-code/no-code automation platforms; personal projects, automations, or AI-built workflows.
