Cabinetry Installation Associate

Ferguson is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Cabinetry Installation Associate. In this role, you will be crucial in ensuring the final quality and client satisfaction of our projects. You will perform final punch-out tasks before client turnover, along with various miscellaneous punch work throughout the construction phase. Your daily responsibilities will include precise touch-ups, adjustments, and light installation of cabinet components. Additionally, you will manage the receiving and delivery of service parts and collaborate closely with the office to perform essential warranty work post-closing.

Position Details:

• Locations: This position requires servicing multiple locations both South and North of Broward County and West Palm Beach County. The ideal candidate must reside within a reasonable driving distance of these areas.
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
• Pay: Starting at $24.17 per hour, with potential for higher pay based on relevant years of experience.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general punch work on homes, including adjustments, touch-ups, and parts installation.
• Responsible for the receiving and delivery of service parts.
• Update our in-house system with receipts and fulfillments of parts.
• Execute warranty punch and service for closed homes.
• Initiate orders for service or warranty parts when necessary.
• Provide driver duties and responsibilities as required.

Qualifications:

• Valid state-issued driver’s license is required.
• Ability to drive a Non-CDL pickup truck under 10,000 lbs.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Prior experience in the cabinet industry.
• Proficiency in cabinet touch-up and repair techniques.
• Ability to effectively use hand tools.
• Experience with carpentry.
• Working knowledge of Windows operating system.
• Ability to function effectively and independently without daily oversight from management.
• Excellent verbal and communication skills.
• Demonstrated attention to detail coupled with strong organizational skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.

Compensation Details:

The estimated hourly pay range for this role is $19.34 – $29.00. This role is eligible for a Bonus or Incentive Plan. Ferguson adheres to all wage regulations, and the starting wage may vary in certain locations based on local or state requirements.
