Cabinetry Installation Associate
Ferguson is seeking a skilled and dedicated Cabinetry Installation Associate to join its team. This role is crucial for ensuring the final quality and readiness of projects before client turnover, as well as providing ongoing support for completed homes. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail and a strong work ethic to manage various tasks independently.
Position Details:
- Locations: This position requires servicing multiple locations within South and/or North Broward County and West Palm Beach County. The ideal candidate must reside within a reasonable driving distance of these areas.
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
- Starting Pay: Beginning at $24.17 per hour, with potential for higher compensation based on relevant years of experience.
Key Responsibilities:
The Cabinetry Installation Associate will be responsible for a variety of tasks that ensure customer satisfaction and project completion, including but not limited to:
- Performing general punch work on homes, which includes adjustments, touch-ups, and the light installation of cabinet components prior to client turnover.
- Receiving and coordinating the delivery of service parts.
- Accurately updating the in-house system with receipts and fulfillments of parts.
- Executing warranty punch work and providing service for closed homes.
- Initiating orders for necessary service or warranty parts.
- Fulfilling driver duties and responsibilities as needed for deliveries and site visits.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates should demonstrate the following qualifications:
- A valid state-issued driver’s license is required.
- Ability to safely drive a Non-CDL pickup truck under 10,000 lbs.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Prior experience within the cabinet industry is essential.
- Proficiency in cabinet touch-up and repair techniques.
- Competence in using various hand tools.
- Experience with carpentry.
- Working knowledge of the Windows operating system.
- Ability to function effectively and independently without daily oversight from management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated attention to detail coupled with strong organizational skills.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.

The estimated hourly pay range for this role is $19.34 – $29.00. This position is also eligible for Bonus or Incentive Plan participation. Ferguson adheres to all wage regulations, and the starting wage may be adjusted higher in certain locations to comply with local or state requirements.
