The Tone:
This is a full-time summer internship at Lumelight, a technology-enabled compliance and analytics company helping employers and partners navigate complex regulatory environments. Lumelight combines deep domain expertise with modern data, analytics, and practical automation to deliver outcomes that matter. Interns will work on live projects where they’ll use AI and automation to streamline workflows, improve accuracy, and drive meaningful business outcomes, contributing directly to improving how real businesses operate.

What You’ll Actually Do
• AI Solutions: Apply AI-driven solutions to streamline processes, improve accuracy, and reduce manual effort across workflows.
• Data Analysis: Analyze data using AI and analytics platforms to uncover actionable insights and support faster, more informed decisions.
• Process Optimization: Build or support practical solutions that optimize business processes and improve workflow execution.
• Documentation: Develop clear documentation, process guides, and playbooks that standardize and improve how work gets done.
• Performance Reporting: Present insights and recommendations focused on improving efficiency, workflow performance, and business outcomes.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university with an expected graduation date of May 2027 or later, pursuing a degree in Business, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Experience: Demonstrated fluency in business concepts and proficiency in applied AI, with hands-on experience using tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, or Power BI.
• Skills: Ability to learn new tools quickly, strong written and verbal communication skills, self-starter with a problem-solving mindset.
• Bonus: Interest in technology-enabled business, data, and process improvement; curiosity about how AI and automation can improve real-world work.
