Generalist Intern | Sparrow

This is an 8-month full-time internship at Sparrow, a company focused on creating advanced AI-driven applications to teach physical skills. Sparrow builds smart AI coaches, with its flagship app, Sparrow Golf, having already successfully assisted over 500,000 users in improving their swing. Led by successful serial entrepreneurs with a track record of raising over $20 million in venture capital and achieving three successful exits, this Generalist Intern role offers a unique, behind-the-scenes experience by contributing directly to the company’s current fundraising round and helping to design business processes that drive tangible results, making it a critical position within a pioneering AI startup.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Fundraising Support: Directly contribute to Sparrow’s ongoing fundraising round, gaining a rare, behind-the-scenes perspective on startup capital acquisition.
• Process Optimization: Design and implement improvements to business processes that directly lead to enhanced efficiency and tangible results.
• Founder Collaboration: Work closely with Sparrow’s experienced founders and the broader team on a variety of high-impact strategic projects.
• Investment Acumen: Learn practical aspects of pitching to and successfully closing investments from a team with a proven track record.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Recent college graduate or current university student who is highly capable and seeking to apply their talents in a practical setting.
• Experience: A strong enthusiasm for the startup ecosystem, technology, and a commitment to learning new skills and concepts through direct application and experience.
• Skills:
• Exceptional communication abilities, both written and verbal, enabling confident and clear engagement, especially with angel investors.
• A proactive work ethic characterized by taking initiative, high productivity, and a strong sense of responsibility, often seeing the bigger picture.
• Highly analytical, creative, and innovative problem-solving skills, capable of tackling complex challenges.
• Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new tools, navigate unfamiliar concepts, and adapt to evolving requirements.
