Sr Business Manager | TIAA
The Tone:
This is a Non-Employee Contingent Worker role at TIAA, providing services for TIAA’s family of companies, anticipated for a 7-month term with potential for extension. This position is located onsite, likely in a hybrid capacity, within the USA. This role serves as the operational backbone for the LRC Technology department, ensuring program visibility, financial integrity, and operational efficiency. The Senior Business Manager will perform moderately complex business planning, support, and project-related duties, holding themselves accountable to achieving excellent results and maintaining an exceptional standard of quality.

• Mission: Ensures programme visibility, financial integrity, and operational efficiency, enabling technology leaders to focus on delivery while maintaining rigorous controls over budget, scope, and resource allocation.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Project Portfolio Management: Maintain the LRC Technology project portfolio within Clarity PPM, accurately tracking all active projects, their status, milestones, and resource allocations.
• Status Reporting & Review: Produce weekly and monthly project status reports for technology leadership, consolidating updates and preparing materials for quarterly business reviews with stakeholders.
• Clarity PPM Administration: Serve as the Clarity PPM system administrator for the LRC Technology department, managing project setup, user access, configuration, and ensuring data integrity.
• Vendor & SOW Administration: Administer Statements of Work (SOWs) for vendor engagements, tracking deliverables, milestones, payment schedules, and coordinating renewals or amendments.
• Financial Management: Track the LRC Technology budget across all projects, vendors, and resource categories, providing monthly variance reporting and forecast updates.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Career level: Senior. University (Degree) preferred in a relevant field. Expertise in Business Management practices.
• Experience: 5+ Years Required; 7+ Years Preferred in business management, project portfolio administration, financial tracking, resource planning, and governance processes.
• Skills: Clarity PPM administration, project portfolio management, financial tracking and budget management, vendor SOW administration, project status reporting, and process improvement.
• Bonus: 7+ Years of work experience.
