Growth, Partnerships & Community Intern | Open Room

The Tone:
This is an internship at Open Room, a highly curated community for founders, solopreneurs, and entrepreneurs seeking a strong network while they build. The company facilitates open discussions among experienced builders on product, growth, fundraising, and company challenges. This remote role is critical for assisting the founders directly in expanding Open Room’s reach, enhancing its member experience, and supporting day-to-day operations.

• Team: Reports directly to founders Itay Forer and Alex Prober.
• Mission: To support the growth of Open Room by assisting with member acquisition, partnerships, and community engagement.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Growth: Drive growth initiatives through experiments, outreach, LinkedIn engagement, and content creation.
• Partnerships: Research and identify strategic partnerships, communities, accelerators, and new opportunities for collaboration.
• Communication: Manage clear communication with applicants, members, partners, and guest speakers.
• Community Operations: Support daily community operations, including member onboarding, Slack management, and call coordination.
• Analysis: Evaluate current strategies to understand what is working effectively and identify areas for improvement.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Strong interest in startups, business, growth, and marketing.
• Experience: No specific experience required; emphasis on high energy, curiosity, proactivity, and reliability.
• Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, comfort in building relationships with founders, ability to figure things out independently, willingness to take ownership of tasks.
• Bonus: Interest in building a company in the future; potential for growth within Open Room beyond the internship based on strong performance.
