Business Development Representative – San Francisco | Salesforce

This role is a vital part of the Sales Development Organization, which serves as the engine for new business growth. What You’ll Actually Do
• Generate new business pipeline through outbound prospecting and cold calling across existing Salesforce customers and new accounts in an assigned territory.
• Partner with account teams to identify and source pipeline by researching lines of business, personas, and key decision makers.
• Manage and nurture inbound leads and early-stage opportunities driven by outbound efforts.
• Participate in an intensive sales training program designed to build the foundational skills needed for a long-term career in sales.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Core domain knowledge in business development, sales, or a related field.
• Experience: Outbound prospecting, cold calling, and account research across a mix of new and existing accounts. Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding goals and metrics.
• Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage decision makers at multiple levels. Ability to thrive in a high-volume environment while managing multiple priorities.
• Bonus: 1–2 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field. Experience with account planning and working a hybrid list of new and existing install accounts. Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools.
